Cookie & Local Storage Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Vexen Mail uses a small amount of browser storage to sign you in and remember your interface language.
Essential session cookie
When you sign in, the service sets a cookie named vexen_session. It is used to keep your authenticated session and is configured as HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Strict in the hosted service. It is essential to sign-in and mailbox functions; it is not used for advertising. The cookie expires with the configured session lifetime or when you sign out.
Browser local storage
The app may store your chosen interface language and, in some builds, a saved signature in browser local storage so they are available on your next visit. This is not a cookie and is not used for cross-site tracking. You can clear it through your browser’s site data settings; the app will then use its default language.
Analytics and advertising
We did not identify analytics or advertising trackers in the reviewed application source for this release. If this changes, this policy should be updated and any required consent controls added before those technologies are used.
Managing storage
Blocking essential cookies or clearing site data may sign you out or reset your language preference. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
